In her spare time, Janin likes to make illustrations that enable her to express her childlike wonder and whimsical perspective of the world. The illustrations are created through a mix of drawing, watercolour and photography.

KATRIEN G. JANIN is a third year Bioanthropology PhD student at Wolfson College, Cambridge. During the day she researches the shape of life, and at night likes to illustrate magical/scientific tales.
